Ford House Wins National Recognition Award!

Our Visitor Center and Administration Building have earned a National Recognition Award in the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) 2023 Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA) competition—the “Academy Awards of the engineering industry.” The National Recognition Award is a prestigious distinction honoring projects demonstrating exceptional engineering excellence at the national level.

Ford House is excited to announce that we, along with our building team Frank Rewold & Sons; Architect, Engineer, and Sustainability Consultant SmithGroup, will be recognized during the 2023 EEA Gala Dinner and Awards Program, on June 13, 2023, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Downtown Washington, D.C.  

This award is truly an honor to us, and we thank everyone that has helped make this project a successful one and the wonderful visitors and Ford House members that get to enjoy these beautiful buildings with us.
