Food Rescue US is dedicated to eliminating hunger and food waste (keeping food out of landfills and reducing greenhouse gasses). We engage volunteers and food donors through our proprietary web-based app to directly transfer nutritious excess food to social service agencies serving the food insecure.

We GP, Welcoming Everyone Grosse Pointe, is a community based non-profit 501(c)(3) organization committed to resisting any attacks on civil and human rights and to promoting local, state and national policy and legislation that are in line with our guiding principles. We GP provides opportunities for social engagement and community building as well as opportunities for advocacy and activism.
Michigan Humane was founded in 1877, is the oldest and largest nonprofit animal welfare organization in the state. Each year, Michigan Humane achieves 100 percent adoption of more than 8,000 healthy and treatable animals through compassionate care, community engagement and advocacy for humane treatment.
Each Father's Day, thousands of car fans journey to the idyllic home of Edsel and Eleanor Ford for the visual feasts that is EyesOn Design. Organized around an annual design theme, vehicle owners are invited to share their rolling sculpture with the world. EyesOn Design has raised millions of dollars to support the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology. The DIO, a division of the Henry Ford Health Department of Ophthalmology, supports the visually impaired and organizes groundbreaking eye research conferences.
