Teachers spend their days opening doors for others. This May, Ford House is opening ours.
In recognition of National Teacher Appreciation Month, teachers will receive one complimentary House & Grounds Admission with a valid school ID, May 1 through May 31, Tuesday through Sunday.
Simply check in at the Visitor Center admissions desk to enjoy access to the Main Residence, grounds and gardens, and outbuildings at your own pace.
Consider this your official field trip. Stroll the grounds, step inside, and take your time. Stop by The Speedster for a snack, coffee, or cocktail, then keep exploring. No lesson plan required. Limit one complimentary admission per teacher; valid school ID required at check-in.

Enjoy free admission to the historic Ford House estate, where you can:
- Gardens and grounds open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Main Residence open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Auxiliary buildings open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. ( Josephine's Playhouse and Garage)
- Stop by the Visitor Center to shop and view current exhibitions
- Dine with a view at The Continental, offering fresh, flavorful meals and snacks

All ticket sales, memberships, and other purchases are non-refundable. Refunds will only be issued if Ford House closes or cancels an event. In such cases, guests with tickets or reservations will be notified.
