Step into the world of Eleanor Ford and celebrate her birthday in timeless elegance at Ford House. This exclusive event invites you to experience the refined lifestyle of the Ford family with an indulgent tea service, followed by an intimate exploration of their historic home.

Inspired by Eleanor’s love for gracious hospitality, enjoy a lavish three-tiered tea featuring delicate finger sandwiches, warm, freshly baked scones, and exquisite desserts, perfectly paired with a selection of fine teas. Afterward, take a self-guided tour of the magnificent Main Residence, where every room tells a story of Eleanor’s keen eye for art, architecture, and design.

Immerse yourself in the history and beauty of this beloved estate and uncover the legacy of a woman who shaped its character and spirit.

About the Artists:

Florella Strings is an emerging Detroit-based duo. Violinist Carla Rivers-Johnson and cellist Jasmine James combine to create and share a quintessential blended experience, fusing their extensive classical training with naturally embodied energy and soul. Rivers-Johnson and James have more than 25 years of performance experience and have played with and for many notable figures, including Andrea Bocelli, Kisma Jordan, Marie Osmond, Rosa Parks, Icewear Vezzo, Transiberian Orchestra, The Eagles, and The Illharmonic Orchestra.

It’s a great excuse to wear your favorite hat or party dress, but you may want to wear shoes comfortable enough to walk the grounds and up and down stairs.
