ABOUT THIS EVENT:

Ford House’s inaugural Artist-in-Residence Program has invited artist Cody Norman to find inspiration in the estate’s home, collections, and landscapes for the creation of new work. Working collaboratively with Curator Isabelle Weiss and Ford House’s exhibitions team, Norman created an outdoor exhibition of works made from collected plastic curated in dialogue with the gardens and architecture of this National Historic Landmark.

As we honor Eleanor Ford’s vision and adapt to contemporary needs, Ford House remains a living testament to creativity and learning. We are committed to infusing the estate with fresh, relevant ideas and a playful spirit, reflecting Eleanor’s passion for discovery and Edsel’s forward-thinking design.

Join us for this unique exhibition from September 1-30, and don’t miss the opportunity to meet Cody Norman at this reception on Thursday, September 19. Registration (coming soon) is encouraged to ensure your spot in this captivating experience.
