Tea at Ford House

Indulge in timeless elegance with Tea at Ford House, a serene experience where tradition and charm come together. Each tea features a delectable array of treats and pastries, paired with a vast selection of fine teas, all set to the soothing sounds of live music.

Held in the Lake Shore Room on the second floor of the Visitor Center and overlooking Ford Cove, Tea at Ford House is the perfect setting for special celebrations or a relaxing escape.

New in 2025, we’re introducing Once Upon a Tea—magical tea parties designed for children and inspired by classic children’s literature. Little ones will love our Mad Hatter’s Tea Party on Saturday, March 15, and our Emerald City Tea Party on Saturday, July 12. These whimsical teas feature kid-friendly bites, enchanting themes, and interactive character experiences for a truly memorable outing.

Follow the yellow brick road to Ford House’s Once Upon a Tea: Emerald City Adventure, an immersive children’s tea set in the beautifully themed Lake Shore Room. Overlooking the picturesque Ford Cove, this special tea party transports you to the magical Emerald City from The Wizard of Oz. With its vibrant, themed decor, the room will be transformed into a glittering wonderland straight from Dorothy’s journey.
