Geese Are Nesting on Grounds
Spring is here, and that means some of our feathered friends are nesting on the grounds. While exploring, please be aware of geese, as they can be protective of their nests. For your safety, we advise all guests to walk at their own risk and give geese plenty of space. Thank you for helping us respect our wildlife! 🦆🌿

About this event:
Step into the legacy of Eleanor and Edsel Ford at their beloved 1928 estate. Designed in the English Cotswold style, this 30,000-square-foot haven was created as a warm and welcoming home for their family. Join our guides as they share stories of Edsel, Eleanor, and their four children—Henry II, Benson, Josephine, and William—and lead you through the Main Residence.
Discover beautifully curated rooms filled with the family’s treasured art, design, and artifacts as you explore. Each space offers a glimpse into the Fords’ refined tastes and the era they helped shape.
This 50-minute guided tour includes staircases and may not be accessible for those with mobility challenges. With limited availability, we recommend reserving tickets in advance.
After your guided tour, we encourage you to explore the grounds, gardens, and auxiliary buildings. You can also stop by the Visitor Center’s three exhibitions. Grab a bite in our restaurants and visit The Shop at Ford House.
